Afro-pop artiste Adina (Adina Ndamse Thembi) has hinted of launching are clothing line very soon onto the Ghanaian market.
If she successfully does, she will join the list of Ghanaian Musicians/celebrities who have invested in the fashion/accessories industry in recent time. She was speaking on the New Day programme on TV3.
It is not clear the type of clothings she will be producing, but it is very obvious that, the easy going musician will start with something mainly for the youth and urban, which will obviously match with her passion; the Music industry.
Adina revealed that she is good as sewing and until recently, was sewing her dressings for events, but left an unanswered question on the minds of many viewers; as to whether she will be directly involved in production or will out source the production to designers like some other celebrities have done.
If she launches her clothings line, Adina will be mentioned alongside the likes of Sarkodie who is behind the “Sark Collection”, Kofi Okyere Darko behind the 1957 Clothing Line and TV Presenter Kokui Selormey, behind the “Kokui” Fashion Line, which targets XL women.
Others include “Black Avenue Clothing” by artiste D-black, “J’Melo” line which include hand bags and jewelry, by Ghanaian Actor and entrepreneur John Dumelo.
You surely can’t take our attention off “Meridian clothing” by R2Bee’s Mugeez and FM clothing line by sexy and vibrant Fella Makafui of YOLO fame.
