Former Executives of the New Patriotic Party in Nabdam Constituency of the Upper East Region have discounted claims by their Parliamentary Candidate,Boniface Gambila that he established and built the party in the Constituency.
This follows comments made by Boniface Gambila on A1 Radio that, it took his personal resources and support from his family and friends to build and make the NPP attractive in Nabdam hence , he will be the last person to destroy the party.
Mr. Gambila was responding to allegations by NDC MP for the area, Dr. Kurt Nawane that he has succeeded in courting acrimony in the constituency especially his own party for a personal interest.
But in a shape rebuttal to his claims, Former NPP Chairman for the Nabdam Constituency,Vincent Atoore said,their PC peddled lies and must be disregarded.
“We wish to state emphatically and without any shred of doubt that the statesmen is a fallacy and should be treated with the outmost contempt it deserves” he said.
According to him, the NPP was already properly established before Boniface Gambila was hand picked and nurtured to lead the party and so,it will be ridiculous for him to have claimed credit for building the party in the Constituency.
“It should be noted that ,the party was founded in the constituency in 1992 by the then Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Edward Dagbama Wala” he indicated.
