Legon Cities Chairman Richard Atikpo elected Council of State representative for Oti Region

Chairman of Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC, Richard Atikpo has been elected Council of State representative for Oti Region.

The football administrator who hails from Akpafu Adorkor in the Oti Region is keen on playing a big role to benefit the people in the Region.

Among 8 candidates, he has today been voted to serve as a representative of the Council of State for the Oti Region having amassed 11 of the 16 votes.

Taking to their Twitter page, Legon Cities FC has congratulated the chairman as they back him to make a difference.

“Hearty congratulations to our Board Chairman and bankroller Richard Kings Atikpo who has just been elected as a Member of the Ghanaian Council of State, representing the Oti Region of Ghana…Congratulations Sir,” the Royal club posted on their Twitter page on Friday.

With his new role, Mr. Richard Atikpo has pledged to work together with the various District Assemblies to lobby for the development of roads, hospitals, and a number of social interventions.
