Mawums Construction Ltd. hands over 6 unit classroom block to Arigu community

Mawums Constructions Company Limited has handed over a 6 unit classroom block to Arigu M/A Primary and Junior High School in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the North East Region.

The 6 unit classroom block cost the civil engineering and constructions company an amount of Ghc500,000.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the Human Resources Manager of Mawums Construction Company Ltd, Mrs. Naa Ameley Aseidu, said the gesture was part of the company’s contribution to the development of society especially communities where they operate across the country.

“Whiles we endeavor to lead Ghana’s infrastructure redeem, we also love to put smiles on the faces of others by spreading the positivity. We therefore look for ways to touch our business communities with endearing projects that improve societal living. We have proven this by constantly meeting the need in our society today. This {6 unit classroom block} is among other projects undertaken by Mawums; more especially in the North East region.” Mrs. Aseidu said.

On behalf of the beneficiary school, the headmaster, Namaha David Anamzoya, expressed gratitude to Mawums Construction Company Ltd; describing the gesture as timely.

According to him the school was challenged with a huge classroom deficit which was affecting teaching and learning.

He therefore pledged to ensure that the newly built facility receives good care and maintenance.

The Chief of Arigu, Naa Mbah Jacob Kanzuni IV, who grace the occasion with his elders express excitement over the classroom block and prayed for God’s blessings upon Mawums Construction Company Ltd. for its kind gesture.
