The General Secretary for the People’s National Convention (PNC), Janet Asana Nabla has cleared the air on the supposed internal wrangling.

The PNC has been in the news in recent times for some issues surrounding actions and final expulsion of the Flabearer and National Chairman. These issues have caught the attention of the EC and as such, the electoral body has demanded that the PNC immediately puts its house in order.

But speaking to A1 Radio’s Daybreak Upper East show with Mark Smith, PNC’s General Secretary stated that the party had provided the EC with all the needed information and evidence to the fact that all is calm within the party. The supposed rancour in the party, are only the figment of the disgruntled members’ imagination.

According to Madam Nabla, the individuals who have been reporting party to the EC issue do not in any way, represent the party.

“EC has already written a letter to the party but people misunderstood what the EC have said. The letter the media is dealing with is not directed to the party but it is for some particular individuals who went to complain about our internal constituency election that is going on. So we have given ample evidence to the EC, to let EC know that the people that complained have no locus, have nothing to do with the party because the party has already taken a decision about them.”

“So they don’t have the capacity to even write a letter to the EC to demand for that. So we have provided the EC with ample evidence so that the EC will allow our election to continue. So it is not a big deal, it just that a lot of people don’t understand, because they didt see the letter EC has written to the party they rather saw the letter that EC has given to those people,” she said

The PNC, she noted, is going ahead with its internal election. Madam Nabla said the party is  positioning itself to take power from the NDC and the NPP. According to the general secretary the two parties can no longer be trusted hence the alternative is the People’s National Convention  (PNC).
