The founder of the Rapid Response Unit for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (RRU4DMB), Filson Awankua, disclosed pivotal details on December 23, 2023, about the comprehensive plans set to be implemented by the Vice President, who is now the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to him, the objective is not only to empower the youth of Ghana but also to enhance the NPP’s allure for citizens across the nation.

“Dr. Bawumia is the Vice President, so he cannot change policies even if he wants to, but now I can say he will not only help to bring development programmes to better the youth but will also make the NPP as a party look attractive for the youth and as a result, keep the opposition parties in opposition for years.”

Mr. Filson Awankua shared these insights during a health screening event held at the Gambibgo Health Center in the Bolgatanga-East District.

Mr. Awankua explained that the forthcoming “programs” are characterized by their progressive nature, strategically designed to address the diverse needs of the Ghanaian youth. The overarching goal, he added, will be to transform youth into active contributors to the nation’s development.

“I must say such visions align with Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to fostering an environment where young Ghanaians can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the country’s progress.”

He said the plans will encompass a multifaceted approach, incorporating education, skills development, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

He said, “Dr. Bawumia envisions a future where the youth not only have access to quality education but are also equipped with the skills necessary to navigate a rapidly evolving global landscape. By fostering entrepreneurship, the aim is to cultivate a generation of self-reliant individuals capable of driving economic growth.”

The founder, therefore, emphasized the Vice President’s dedication to inclusivity, ensuring that these initiatives cater to the diverse needs of Ghana’s youth.
