C.K.T-UTAS admits 1,422 new students

The C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences in the Upper East Region has admitted a total of 1,422 students for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The university received 3,020 applications, reflecting the growing appeal and reputation of the institution.

Among the admitted students, 1,016 will embark on their undergraduate studies, pursuing diverse courses, while 406 have been accepted into various graduate programs, signaling a robust academic community at the university.

Speaking at the matriculation ceremony, Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Samson A. Abagale seized the opportunity to inspire and guide the newcomers, urging them to prioritize their studies and remain focused on the goals that brought them to the esteemed institution.

Prof. Abagale underscored the importance of commitment to academic pursuits, stating “Your primary reason for being here is to acquire knowledge and skills that will shape your future. Make the most of this opportunity by dedicating yourself to your studies and embracing the wealth of resources available within the university.”

The Acting Vice Chancellor also cautioned students against behaviors that could lead them into trouble. He highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive academic and social reputation, reminding them that their conduct both inside and outside classrooms would play a crucial role in their overall university experience.
