Popular Ghanaian reggae musician Blakk Rasta, as part of his Dear Ghana Tour, has visited Tongo Senior High School and Bolgatanga Senior High School.

The Dear Ghana Tour is the brainchild of Blakk Rasta. The musician argues that the general population has lost a sense of patriotism. As such, there has to be a deliberate attempt to help students understand the need for patriotism.

He spoke to Ital, host of A1 Radio’s City Bus yesterday, Sunday, March 3, 2024.

“I think that we can get back to our glory days, and that is why we are building the blocks. We are catching them young and telling them that we failed. Our generation has failed, and so we are telling them to be strong and be patriotic,” he said.

The musician indicated that the response from the students has been great as they yearn for knowledge.

Blakk Rasta said, “We started with Wa SHS, and the students were so excited to have us. The questions that came from the students were very beautiful. Then we went to Tongo SHS. We are at Bolgatanga SHS.”

As part of the engagements within the schools, students are to form Young Patriots Clubs.
