On June 1st, 2024, Dr. John Kingsley Krugu, the parliamentary candidate for the Zebila constituency under the ticket of the NPP, made a significant contribution to Kusanaba Senior High School by donating a multipurpose printer worth GHC 52,000.

According to him, the donation aims to enhance the learning activities at the school, particularly by addressing the long-standing challenge of printing examination materials, which previously required trips to Bolgatanga or Zebila.

Speaking to the students during the donation, Dr. Krugu emphasized the importance of education, urging them to take their studies seriously as they are the future leaders of the country. He highlighted his commitment to improving educational infrastructure within the constituency, assuring that if elected as the Member of Parliament in the upcoming December 7th elections, he would lobby for more resources and facilities for schools in the area.

Accompanying Dr. Krugu at the event were several dignitaries, including the District Chief Executive, Hon. Daniel Atampuba Anania Jnr, the Constituency Chairman, Hon. Patrick Ayaba, and other team members. Their presence underscored the collective support for educational development in the Zebila constituency.

The initiative stemmed from a request made earlier this year by the school’s headmaster, Daniel Abugri, who highlighted the difficulties faced by the school in printing examination materials. The donation, he said, was met with joy and gratitude from both the school’s management and students, who recognized the significant impact it would have on their academic activities.

Expressing his gratitude, Headmaster Abugri thanked Dr. Krugu for his generosity and wished him success in the forthcoming elections. He noted that the donation would greatly alleviate the logistical challenges the school had been facing and improve the overall efficiency of their examination processes.

The Constituency Chairman, Patrick Ayaba, explained to the audience that the gesture by Dr. John Kingsley Krugu was a testament to his dedication to education and his vision for a better future for the Zebilla constituency.
