Talensi: I mean well – Robert Alibo to constituents

The Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the Talensi District, Robert Alibo, says his intention for contesting the parliamentary elections in the area is so that constituents can get their due, insisting that “I mean well.”

“I will not be the MP who goes to Parliament and forgets the core mandate that I would be given. My track record is known and seen,” Mr. Alibo said while speaking on the Daybreak Upper East Show recently.

Mr. Alibo reminded constituents in Talensi of their role in making a clear and convincing decision to take him to Parliament, saying, “You would not want to experiment. This is a four-year mandate that you are giving [to an individual]. Would you [constituents of Talensi] want to do an experiment, and if it fails, you have four years to live with it?”

He challenged voters in the area to consider his track record and give him the nod.

“When I go around, people say I have been around and have been with them through thick and thin. I apply development to everything I do, and I would not attach politics to the things I do because I know the people are Talensi people. We are one people; politics just came in the way,” he added.
