Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority Moses Aduku Asaga, has said Northerners also deserve a second term in office as president.
Mr. Asaga who was addressing a crowd at the launch of Hon. Mark Woyongo’s campaign in Navrongo said “Let me tell you something, let me tell you something. You the Northerners, this is your Northern brother, John Mahama is your Northern brother. Every time a Southerner was a President of the Republic he gets two terms. J.J. Rawlings, he got two terms, Kufour, he got two terms. Why is it that for a northerner he can’t get two terms, a northerner must also get two terms.”
He charged the youth present at the launch not to be deceived by other people, reminding them of the resolute foundation built by the governing NDC to better their lives in their next tenure.
“It is in 2017 that we are going to give the youth of Ghana the jobs that you need. Don’t let them deceive you. Before you can create employment, you must get infrastructure, before you create employment you must create and develop the economy.”
He argued that as of now, the economy of Ghana is resolute and ready to provide the youth with the needed jobs saying “as we stand today, the world has said that Ghana is now a positive and stable country in Africa.”
Mr. Asaga assured the youth that in 2017 he will make sure he is in charge of providing the unemployed youth with jobs.
“So university students, I am assuring you that I Moses Asaga will in 2017 make sure that I am in charge to make sure that you the youth get employment.”
