As part of showing appreciation for the support throughout the year, A1 Radio, Thursday, hosted political parties communicators in the Upper East Region at an end of year get together aimed at strengthening the fraternity among the representatives of the various parties.

The Communicators were treated to some good meat and some drinks and were provided with some branded MTN pens and key holders as an appreciation as the year close to a close.

Speaking to A1 Radio on the sidelines of the event, Stanley Abopam who speaks for BONABOTO mentioned that the year has been a fruitful one although there were challenges.

He reiterated the need for the New Patriotic Party to prioritize the payment of the feeding grants which has faced several challenges under the National Democratic Congress.

On his part, the Upper East Regional administrator of the National Democratic Congress, John Paul Danka mentioned that although it was sad that his party was going back to the opposition, it was an indication that Ghanaians have made their choice which needs to be respected.

He added that the NDC intends to put the New Patriotic Party on its toes as they did when they were in opposition for eight years and expect that the promises made to Ghanaians are fulfilled.

He underscored the need for the NPP to respect the Constitution of the country and ensure that there is continuity in government. In doing that he mentioned that major projects undertaken by the NDC should not be left to rot but rather continued to move Ghana forward.

Member of the Upper East New Patriotic Party Communication team, Ahmed Karim Bediako mentioned that he believes that the New Patriotic Party will not take Ghanaians for granted but will fulfill their promises they made.

He added that his party is committed to ensuring that the standard of living of Ghanaians is improved.
