Work is going on steadily at the Bolgatanga Sports stadium ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier league, a1radionline.com can report.
The state of the Bolgatanga Sports stadium is nothing to write home about and cannot host the elite Premier league because it cannot pass the standards set out by the football governing body.
This means that the only and first football club to qualify for the elite league will have to choose between Tamale and Wa sports stadium as their home.
But a1radionline.com‘s visit to the stadium has revealed that work is going on to meet the date for the start of the league which is currently not known.
Though a committee was set up to solicit for funds and oversee the renovation of the facility, the current work on the stadium, however, is done with funds from the coffers of Bolgatanga All-Stars and some other benevolent individuals who have decided to support the team.
