Founder of Akayet Group, Emmanuel Akayeti, has advised the youth, to be honest and loyal in their dealings, since it is the only recipe for success in every endeavour.
According to him, one does necessarily not need money to start up a business, but rather, loyalty, honesty and self-confidence, which Mr. Akayeti, believes many Ghanaians, especially the youth, are lacking in their aspiration to enter into business.
Mr. Akayeti who owns the most talked about 4 star Hotel in the Upper East Region, Akayet Hotel, mentioned that, he owns several businesses but indicated that, he started his business journey virtually without money, but a high level of honesty and self-confidence.
“I started my business without money, but my loyalty and my self-confidence. From Secondary School, I started buying gold without money, but the trust that I built with my loyalty. The youth lately lack this attribute. I bought and sold gold for some time and had more money to start other businesses.”
He added that it was also important that, in all things the youth should be patient to work hard to ensure that they succeed at whatever they do.
” Patience is also a virtue that, the youth need to adopt. Every individual has a calling and so if you sow don’t expect to reap immediately. Just pump hard work in your business and God will grant you favour.”
