Chief Executive Officer for Newly promoted league side, Bolgatanga All Stars, Abdul Basit Paawille, has said the team is entering the Ghana Premier league like Leicester City in the English Premier league last season.

Leicester City entered the English Premier league last season as debutants with the only hope of staying in the league but went ahead to win the coveted trophy and that is the same feat Bolgatanga All Stars is hoping to replicate in the upcoming league which is scheduled to start on February 4 in all league centers.

The CEO who was speaking to a1radioonline.com said “We are coming into the league as underdogs having qualified for the first time. Our objective is to work hard to avoid relegation but we are coming into the league like Leicester city that came with the hope of avoiding relegation but ended up winning the trophy last season”.

On executing their mapped out strategy, Abdul Basit revealed that the club is parading a team of talented and selfless young footballers who intend to make a good name for themselves and also help sell the Bolgatanga All Stars brand.

He, however, was quick to add that the young  team will be blended with some experienced hands to spur them on to make the dream of the club be realized.

Although coy about disclosing the identity of players been recruited by the team, he mentioned that the team had recruited almost fifteen players in addition to some of their old players and will unveil all their new signings in the coming days.
