Nabdam DCE embrace Hon. Rockson Bukari after confirmation

President’s Nominee for the Nabdam District Chief Executive position, Agnes Anamoo has been confirmed by Assembly Members of the Nabdam District Assembly. She escaped first round rejection narrowly and could not hide her joy and appreciation to the Assembly members for confirming her one-touch.

Hon. Agnes Anamoo polled a total of 13 “YES” votes out of the 19 votes cast. There were 6 “NO” votes against her, thereby grabbing the two-third required votes cast.

Honourable Anamoo was grateful to the Assembly member for the confidence reposed in her and promised to be a mother for all in the district.

The District Chief Executive for Nabdam called for the support of all Assembly members and their electorates develop the district. According to her, she cannot develop the district all by herself, rather, she can do more if the people are cooperative.

Upper East Regional Minister, Rockson Ayine Bukari, commended the Assembly members for confirming the nominee and see that gesture as their commitment to the development of the district.

Earlier on that same day, the Talensi Assembly members rejected their DCE Nominee, Christopher Someteima, which the Upper East Regional Minister was not happy with.
