The Assembly Member for the Awukabisi Electoral Area in the Bongo District, Apangaboya Ateo Aboga, together with his Unit Committee, has donated 200 exercise books, 144 pencils and 50 blue pens to three schools in the electoral area.
The learning materials were distributed to Agomo Primary School, Vincent Akurigo Memorial R/C Primary KG School and Bongo-Soe R/C Primary A School to support pupils with basic materials for teaching and learning.
At Agomo Primary School, staff, pupils and SMC/PTA executives expressed appreciation to Mr Aboga and the Unit Committee for the intervention.
The school said the donation would support pupils who need basic learning materials and contribute to teaching and learning.
The Headmistress, staff, pupils and PTA of Vincent Akurigo Memorial R/C Primary KG School also expressed appreciation, describing the donation as the first of its kind the school had received.
Bongo-Soe R/C Primary A School also received exercise books, pens and pencils as part of the exercise.
The beneficiary schools commended the Assembly Member and his Unit Committee for supporting education in the electoral area and expressed hope that similar interventions would continue.
Mr Aboga and the Unit Committee said the donation was intended to improve pupils’ access to basic learning materials and support their education.
