Dujing Brain -TRACE

Like many young artises from North Ghana, Dujing Brain, known as Trace in Showbiz, has had his share of the heat and rejections, but still committted to the forward match in the Music industry.
Dujing Brain aka Trace, was born on January 25, 1986 in the Northern Region, but started his Primary Education in Navrongo in the Upper East Region, where he grew up with his family.
He moved from Navrongo to Bolgatanga in the year 2000 for his Junior High School Education and later got admission to study Auto Mobile Engineering at the Bolgatanga Technical Institute in 2003.
Music has always been his passion from childhood, but got serious when he started his Senior High-Technical education. Since music is his passion, he was able to blend the two together and was successful with his academic work.
In 2006, he joined Yabco Focus Company Limited and has been working there to date. Whiles working, he diverted from the Technical field to study Diploma in Business Studies, Accounting Option. He is currently pursuing a Higher National Diploma – Accounting at the Bolgatanga Polytechnic.
Trace is a Rapper, Hip-Hop artist and also does dancehall, afro-pop and Hip-Life. While growing up, he liked Shaggy and so performance Shaggy’s songs anytime he had the opportunity to entertain people, especially his School mates during Entertainment nights; his School mates called him “Shaggy” then. Now Dujing Brain is Trace.
After Senior High school, his style and interest changed and started following the Game, one of the best hip-hop international artist and Scientific in Gh.
In the course of his hussles, Trace met some friends, her refers to as his family. They were equally passionate about music and together, they formed a Record Label, SWAG PLUS.
He has been doing music for close to 20 years and though still underground, Trace believes that, he will emerge and the country will would wonder where he has been all this while.
“I know how I started and I see improvement all the time in my performance and content. I am gaining the experience and working hard on my music career; one day will will explode and will be heard everywhere. It’s just a matter of time; I will breakthrough.”
His Record Label, SWAG PLUS is now being managed by Westside Entertainment-the Lyon Family and the home of quality music.
Before Westside Entertainment took over the management, SWAG PLUS had nine artistes, namely Trace, Skery, Zee, Gunu, Nambawan, Zarious, Zaaki, Streetz, Ras Lucian.
Since SWAG PLUS joined Westside Entertainment in 2016, Trace has released two hit songs produced by Scripcha. “We Still Dey” and “Dreams” are two out of the with 24 songs to Trace’s credit. The two songs featured two Westside Entertainment artistes, Zarious and Zaaki respectively.
He is working on more hit songs to entertain his fans and communicate with them through music so the force is now or never. He believes everything is possible if you believe in God.
He commended his fanswho have been patient with him, adding, “…thank you for your great support and love and how far your motivations have brought me, to the media (radio stations), we cannot go far without you, so take us there.
