The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has urged applicants not to hesitate in making appeals or lodging complaints regarding decisions taken by the authority in cases that applicants want redressed.

According to the authority, applicants have a time frame of 30 days, starting from receipt of decision, within which they can lodge a written complaint with the Commissioner-General for proper review of all decisions taken by the authority.

This information came to light during a public education interview with officials of the authority on Day-Break Upper East on A1 Radio in Bolgatanga.

The officials stated that the Commissioner-General shall make a determination within 30 days upon receiving complaints of applicants. They further stated that applicants will thereafter be notified accordingly after a determination is made.

The authority also urged tax payers to file all tax returns which are the prerequisite in acquiring tax clearance certificates.
