A restriction of movement has been activated on two communities in Kassena-Nankana Municipal Assembly of the Upper East Region.
This follows a communal clash over a parcel of land between two neighboring communities,Doba and Kandiga.
In a statement issued by the Kassena Nankana West Assembly sighted by A1 News, the restriction was in accordance with the Restriction Act of 2020, Act 1020 and it’s intended to forestall peace in the area.
The directive takes immediate effect .
