Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central Constituency,Joseph Kofi Adda has in a strongly written letter to both the Ministry of Defence and Interior,described a restriction of movement imposed on the Kassena Nankana Municipality as illegal.
The restriction of movement was placed after a misunderstanding between Doba and Kandiga Communities over a parcel of land.
But Hon. Kofi Adda said,the directive must be lifted because residents have been reportedly brutalized and harassed by some security operatives. He added that imposing curfew was beyond the remit of the Municpal Assembly.
