Former Communications Minister under the John Mahama’s administration of the National Democratic Congress,Dr.Omane Boamah says, he was worried about how the Vice President has been used by the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) to hoodwink Ghanaians.

According to him, Dr. Bawumia’s intellect has been abused by his party a reason behind his ‘baseless’ arguments about the economy.

Dr.Omane Boamah told Host of Daybreak Upper East,Samuel Mbura that, if the Vice President does not pull his breaks and allows himself to be used by the NPP, he will end up being a laughing stock in the country because, his credibility was wobbling.

He therefore advised him to look up to Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo for economics tutorials to avoid the embarrassment has caused for himself.

“I wish that Dr Bawumia listens to his younger brother Hon.Isaac Adongo so that he would have been more measured and sober to bring respect and credibility to the high office that the good Lord has entrusted in his hands. He should be a role model to many people in the country and also many people in the Savannah zone. He is not living up to the high office of his Excellency the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and it is worrying to me the way Dr. Bawumia is going” He said.

He however, entreated the Vice President to repent from making denigrating comments in order to save himself from further humiliations.

“Our brother should come again but he should not allow himself to be used .he should repent from pedestrian analysis” He added.

The Former Communications Minister was responding to comparison claims by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia that the NDC ask in managing crisis.

Meanwhile, Deputy Communications Director of the NPP in the Upper East Region,Johnson Ayine in a rebuttal , questioned the moral rights of the NDC to doubt the credibility of Dr Mahamud Bawumia when it failed woefully in managing the economy in it’s eight years in office.
