Many young artists and entertainers in the Entertainment Industry in Ghana, have the perception that it is the responsibility of investors, stakeholders, some other industry players, and even individuals to push them to stardom at all cost.

Once they start recording their songs especially, they look forward to someone to realize their talents and offer them the needed support.

But, Armstrong Affum, known in the entertainment cycles as Dadie Opanka in an interview said he has a different view about the mindset of many young artists in Ghana.

According to him, he does not look forward to industry stakeholders to support his craft nor invest to develop his talent, rather he prefers to work hard to become who he wants to become. However, if in the course of investing in his talent and works, someone comes to support his effort he will be very happy because that will lessen his burden and make him work on his brand with ease.

The Hajia hitmaker, who is currently promoting his latest EP, #ELEVATION said; “I feel like nobody owes us any support. When you support me, I will appreciate it, but you do not owe me any support”.
