Tricycle operators urged to comply with traffic regulations

The spokesperson for tricycle operators popularly known as “Mahaman Can Do” in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region, Agana Christopher Atanga has urged members of his association, tricycle operators, to ride with caution and observe the traffic regulations ahead of the Christmas celebration.

The caution, Mr. Atanga, said ought to help members avoid possible accidents occurring on roads. According to him this is a season where accidents are commonplace on the roads hence the need for these tricycle operators to conduct their business with high concerns for safety.

“What I want to tell my members is that this Christmas season we must comply with all roads safety measures and all road regulations. We must drive with care, we must obey the orders of the police personnel in order to help us work in peace, we should also be mindful of the time we close in this Christmas season”

Mr. Atanga also called on the owner of tricycles to be very clam with whoever is using the machines for operations. He stated that some of the owners put much pressure and high financial demands on their employers which always leads them to do untoward things.
