Corporate Bodies Lace Boots for A1 Radio 5th Invitational Tournament

Corporate establishments in the Upper East region have begun lacing their boots for the 5th edition of the annual A1Radio Invitational Tournament slated for May 14, 2016.

The upper east regions’ big cooperate event is organized by A1 radio and the sports tournament would bring together public and private institutions to battle each other out in various indoor and outdoor games.

Games to be held on the day include owari, ludu, draft, table tennis, football and penalty for ladies.

In previous editions, Institutions including the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Health Service, Zoomlion, Asankunde Memorial Clinic, National Health Insurance Authority and many others displayed a high level of resilience in a quest to become champions.

Defending champions Asankunde Memorial Clinic have given a strong indication to hold on to the pride while other participating institutions have vowed to oust the defending champions from glory.

Organizers say this years’ edition is expected to draw in new institutions including banks and promises to be exciting.

In all, sixteen teams will be participating in the tournament which will see corporate bodies leave their air conditioned offices and sweat it out on the Ramsey Sports park.

The program is expected to start at 6:00am.
