Tomorrow, the biggest night where Ghanaian music is celebrated will be happening live at the conference centre in Accra.
For the past eighteen years, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has been the most credible music awards in the country although there have always been reservations by some people who have always felt cheated.
In Ghana currently, Red carpet before events have come to stay and has become a part of the country’s event culture. Tomorrow, radio and television personality, Berla Mundi will host the Red Carpet alongside Fashion designer Elikem the Tailor and will start at exactly 7 pm.
They are expected to ‘meet and greet’ the various celebrities and tell the world who and what they will be wearing. Interestingly, the best-dressed Male and Female on the night will be awarded.
With the event itself, Starr Drive Co-host, Anita Erskine will be the host of the show and she will be supported by the man with the unique baritone voice, Dj Black.
Artistes performing on the night includes Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, EL, M.anifest, Kofi Kinaata, Mzvee, Becca, Nacee and many others
Ahead of the event, Lynx entertainment’s Kwame Eugene has been adjudged winner of the unsung category and that give him the platform to perform on the night alongside some big names in the industry.
Like it has been the case over the years, it is most likely that RunTown will be adjudged the African act of the year considering the fact that he has been billed to perform on the night.
