Kanye Omari West, also known as Ye is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer, born in Atlanta and raised in Chicago.
Ye and his wife, Kim Kardashian West have been spending some time in Uganda in East Africa, and surprising children in some selected Orphanages with pairs of Yeezy Boots, produced by Kanye West. The couple are on a tour of Uganda.
According to media reports, the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, gave Ye and Kim permission to use his Presidential helicopter to tour around various Charity Institutions and societies in Uganga to present their gifts to the needy ones.
Reports say, the beneficiary orphans were extremely excited to see the couple ( Ye and Kim) in their Orphanages and sang Kanye West songs over and over again, while the couple shared the Yeezy boots.
Kanye is said to have started his season of giving from the White House, on Thursday, October 12, 2018, when he met with the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump for a brief discussion and later handed over a pair of Yeezy Boots. On reaching Uganda, Kanye also presented a pair of Yeezy Boots to President, Yoweri Museveni, before starting his tour of the country.
