Nurses in Ghana who have been idling after training for the past three years without sustainable jobs will now be recruited into the Ghana Health Service(GHS).
This is according to a statement coming from the Ministry of Health (MoH).The recruitment is expected to commence on 7th April,2020.
There have been a backlog of unemployed Nurses of various categories because of lack funds by government to engage them.
But it has now become prudent to enroll them into government’s payroll to help in the fight against Covid19 in the country since the patience to Nurses ratio has become alarming in deficit.
