NPP is like buying iPhone from Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra; they can’t be trusted – NDC

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a government that has failed. This is according to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The NDC argues that the government has not been able to tame inflation, control exchange rates, or reduce fuel prices, part of the many promises the party made ahead of its election into office in 2016.

A member of the NDC Upper East Regional Communication Team, Nicholas Zangina, speaking on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show, explained that the NPP’s posture is like “an iPhone that has been sold to you at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra. When they sell it to you, they tell you not to unwrap it until you get home. Then, only for you to get home and if it were a yam, you would be happy, but you only get to the house to realize it is a bar of soap.”

“What I am saying is that the NPP promised us bread and butter issues, they promised to take us from taxation to production. They promised us that after 100 days, Accra would be the cleanest city. They promised that they were going to alleviate our suffering and pain, but what have they done? They came into government and shared portions of the national cake to family and friends,” he said.

Mr. Zangina argued that the NPP has to be kicked out for former President John Mahama to be made president again for proper development.
